The Digital Tourism Think Tank is the name given to this initiative which aims at providing thought leadership to the tourism industry in digital marketing best practice. This project was created by Nick Hall, Managing Director at SE1 Media and ex Marketing Director and Director of ETC for four years, who has more than 10 years experience working in digital tourism marketing, both in the marketing sector and in the tourism industry. Nick is supported by his team at SE1 Media, who have a great experience in the tourism industry as well. In addition, The Digital Tourism Think Tank puts together a team of experts in diverse and varied fields of the tourism industry.
The lead partner of the Digital Tourism Think Tank is Yahoo!, who are passionate supporters of the initiative and understand the importance of learning and sharing to optimise digital strategy in tourism.
Launched on thinkdigital.travel in early 2013, it is being launched with what will become its flagship annual event, the Digital Tourism Innovation Campus. The Digital Tourism Think Tank comprises special features including interviews with industry experts and DMOs, best practice guides and reports, a programme of events and workshops and the Digital Tourism Brand Index.
