By combining an innovative and exclusive new luxury travel show We Are Africa alongside Africa’s top travel trade show, INDABA, the alliance offers a proposition that covers the entire African leisure travel market with distinct opportunities and promises to redefine African tourism at an international level.
Beyond Luxury Media’s latest genre-shattering show for the African luxury travel industry, We Are Africa, has taken the market by storm with 200 high-end exhibitors committing to the launch edition from 5-8 May 2014 in Cape Town, making it by far Africa’s largest and most substantial African luxury travel show. The by-invitation-only event has also secured 210 top African specialist buyers from both new and established markets as well as handpicked international travel editors from publications such as Vanity Fair, Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler UK, US & China. As a result the event is completely sold out and no further delegate registrations will be possible onsite.
Meanwhile INDABA, which has represented the fabric of the Sub-Saharan travel trade and the breadth of the tourism sector for nearly 30 years, has this year begun a transformation to a Pan African showcase and secured well over 1230 exhibitors, making it, the marketplace with the most comprehensive range of leisure travel companies in Africa. INDABA will take place in Durban from 10-12 May 2014.
“The success of the Two Shows One Africa alliance stems from the clarity it provides Africa’s leisure travel market by bringing together two like-minded organisations, both of which are working together to provide the industry with unprecedented benefits. We’ve been welcomed with open arms and South Africa has proven an incredible destination for the launch of We Are Africa”, concludes Serge Dive, CEO and Founder of Beyond Luxury Media.
“At South African Tourism, custodian of INDABA, we are very proud to have entered into partnership with We Are Africa, under the banner of Two Shows One Africa. In these two travel shows, We Are Africa and INDABA, we believe the synergies amplify the opportunity for exhibitors and buyers to gain maximum value, attending Africa’s biggest and most diverse travel trade show, as well as Africa’s most prestigious high-end luxury trade show. I am confident that the exhibitors at both these shows will together give buyers a very keen sense of just how varied, cutting edge, accessible and viable the African tourism offering is, and just how much potential it has to inspire the global travel market,” adds Mr Thulani Nzima, Chief Executive Officer at South African Tourism.
