UpgradedPoints.com launches new tool to help travelers maximize the value of Points & Miles

Although the tool is brand new, it has already been shared over 700 times, and the UP team expects that number to grow rapidly as people become aware of its practicality and convenience.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – UpgradedPoints.com announces a convenient online tool that shows consumers where and how to transfer their travel points and frequent flier miles, and provides redemption options to achieve the most value from them. The new transfer partner tool works for Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou and SPG points.

"Credit cards and airlines do a terrible job of letting consumers know how to use their rewards points," says UP Founder Alex Miller. "That's where we come in. We're very excited about the launch of our new tool, it's really going to help show people the exciting opportunities they have for using their hard-earned points.

We've worked very hard to put all the important information on a single page, so people don't have to search multiple sites to find out their transfer options, the value of their points and redemption opportunities."

Although the tool is brand new, it has already been shared over 700 times, and the UP team expects that number to grow rapidly as people become aware of its practicality and convenience.

To use the tool, consumers simply type in their number of points and select the correct type (Amex, Chase, Citi or SPG) from the drop-down menu. Based on the user's inputs, the tool generates a table showing all the pertinent information on one page in an easily comprehensible format. Each column can even be sorted alphabetically or numerically to help consumers understand the range of what's available.

Rewards points can be transferred to multiple airline and hotel partners around the world, and UP's tool displays them all. It also calculates the number of points you'll receive once transferred. Typically, the ratio is 1:1, but not always – and sometimes partners run special offers where points become more valuable. For instance, an airline might offer a 30% bonus on transferred points, and offers like this are included in the tool so you don't miss out on any bonus opportunities.

Next to the transfer ratio is an estimate of the transfer time; for most partners, points transfers are almost instant. The number of redeemable points/miles resulting from a transfer is displayed in the last column, along with links to very in-depth redemption idea articles with endless suggestions for how to use them for maximum value.

The UP team anticipates continued rapid growth throughout 2017. The site will be doubling its content library, as well as introducing new sections and features in the coming months, including reviews and descriptions of popular travel sites; a points valuation system; a guide showing which travel destinations provide the top value at any given time; airport parking and lounge guides; and thorough explorations of well-known online shopping portals.
