Big Five becomes preferred provider with Ensemble Travel Group

Big Five Tours & Expeditions, founded in 1973, is proud to announce that it is now a preferred supplier with the Ensemble Travel Group, a member-owned international organization of nearly 900 professional travel agencies in the U.S. and Canada.

Launched in 1968 in New York, Ensemble Travel Group has a diverse membership base of professional travel agencies that cover the spectrum from large full-service to small cruise-only companies; from traditional retail and home-based offices to web-based agencies.

“As a provider of custom, luxury travel, Big Five can present Ensemble members with products that are finely focused for their guests as well as exclusive offers, amenities and unique training opportunities for its members,” said Ashish Sanghrajka, president of Big Five Tours & Expeditions.

Big Five and Ensemble Travel Group share common bonds such as longevity, award-winning service, and the expertise to create and deliver vacation experiences that exceed guests’ expectations.  This collaboration allows members to connect their clients with one-of-a-kind travel adventures.

Big Five Tours & Expeditions is a luxury, soft adventure tour operator offering guided travel to Africa, Asia and South Pacific, Orient, South and Central America, Arctic and Antarctica.  Big Five was named by National Geographic Adventure among the top ten for “Best Luxury Adventure Travel Companies on Earth” for 2008 & 2009; was one of three honored by Travel+Leisure as “World’s Best Value,” and consistently ranked on their list of “World’s Best Tour Operator & Safari Outfitters” since 1999; and was twice featured in National Geographic Traveler’s “50 Trips of a Lifetime.”
