New worldwide network of travel companies

After several months of negotiations and discussions between WATA<.>–World Association of Travel Agencies and ASI<.>–American Sightseeing International, Executives, a letter of intent was signed on the 27th of May 2000, to form the largest worldwide network of travel companies under the name of WATA/ASI Partnership.

Each association was founded in the 1940`s and will retain its individual staff and offices in Geneva (Switzerland) and San Francisco (California). Both associations achieved worldwide recognition for the quality of their members and the many services to the travel industry.
