Vacation Express returns to Nashville with nonstop flights to Jamaica

Flights supporting all-inclusive vacation packages begin this summer.

ATLANTA – Vacation Express is thrilled to re-introduce exclusive, non-stop flights to Jamaica from Nashville International Airport in summer 2017. The flights will depart weekly on Mondays for 6-night programs beginning July 10 through August 7, 2017, making Vacation Express the only option for direct service to the "home of all right".

"We are delighted Vacation Express will be resuming their seasonal Jamaica service again this summer," said Rob Wigington, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority president and CEO. "This is a great getaway option for sun, sand and relaxation. This flight is always wildly popular, and we are confident it will be successful again this year."

In previous years, Vacation Express has serviced Nashville as its exclusive provider of non-stop flights to Jamaica offering both 4-night and 6-night programs. Nashville has continued to be a robust travel market showing strong growth with its annual return of seasonal flights to Cancun, Punta Cana and Grand Bahama Island, making the decision to add Jamaica to the 2017 summer schedule a logical choice.

This announcement comes days after the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority shared that they experienced an 11% increase in passengers, making 2016 the fourth consecutive year of record-breaking numbers of people traveling through Nashville International Airport.

Jamaica has become an even more enticing destination for travelers with the introduction of three brand-new, all-inclusive resorts on the island. Royalton Blue Waters is located in Montego Bay and Royalton Negril & Hideaway at Royalton Negril are on the popular beaches of Negril. All three resorts offer Royalton's All-In Luxury concept which features luxurious benefits to all guests, including the exquisitely comfortable DreamBedTM, free high-speed Wi-Fi resort-wide, 24-hour room service, the Sports Event GuaranteeTM and more.

Flights to Jamaica will be operated by Swift Air, LLC. on a Boeing 737 aircraft. The value-packed flights will enable travelers to sit back and relax while enjoying a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and snack. Each traveler will be permitted one free carry-on bag and the option to purchase add-ons like Preferred Seating starting at $20 or Elite Plus starting at $39 each way and can bundle options which include checked luggage for the best value.
