Vayant upgrades its Vayant repricer product for airlines

Targeted at airlines, the solution enables a wide range of ticket changes in a straightforward and transparent way.

LONDON – Vayant announced the 2nd generation of its automated web service that streamlines airline ticket changes, refunds and cancellations – Vayant Repricer.

The second generation of Vayant Repricer includes an improved JSON API, meaning it is easier than ever before for airlines to deploy and integrate ticket changes into all their sales channels including web, mobile and kiosk. The new improved Vayant Repricer also allows upselling of airline products (e.g. branded fares) and ancillaries.

Vayant Repricer accelerates alterations to ticketing, and automates key aspects of the process including reissue, revalidation, cancellation and refund. Traditionally, ticket changes have required a manual intervention by the travel seller or airline which reduces efficiency and introduces the potential for error.

Targeted at airlines, the solution enables a wide range of ticket changes in a straightforward and transparent way.

Vayant Repricer’s simplicity allows airlines to offer their customers the convenience of self-service ticket changes. It ensures the highest level of ticket change accuracy and the collection of due revenues. The solution conveniently integrates with any airline Internet Booking Engine.

Harnessing the power of Vayant’s core pricing and shopping technology, Vayant Repricer calculates the costs for ticket changes based on ATPCO Category 31 governing ticket change rules. It calculates refund amounts and penalties for ticket cancellations based on ATPCO Category 33 governing refund rules. As with Vayant’s core system, Vayant Repricer applies current and historical ATPCO data, adaptable to the needs of any airline.
