Vene 21 Bat online presents boats, boating equipment, as well as water activities and clothing.
The Vene 21 Bat online event brings together boating products and services for a unique online event on 12-21 February. The event can be watched from all over the world and is free of charge for all visitors. In the future, the online content will complement the events held at Messukeskus.
For more than 50 years, Helsinki International Boat Show, the largest boat fair in Northern Europe, has been held at Messukeskus in Helsinki during the second week of February. Now it's online. Vene 21 Bat online presents boats, boating equipment, as well as water activities and clothing. There is interesting program, product presentations, good offers and opportunity to chat with exhibitors. More than 130 companies will participate in the event.
"At Messukeskus, we have taken big steps in digitalisation, worked hard and learned a lot. The online event brings boats to the living rooms and offers new kinds of content. The traditional boat show is a strong social event that cannot be replaced by an online event. In the future, however, online content will certainly complement the events held at Messukeskus. We also want to create year-round content on the event's website and social media channels," says Salesgroup Manager Juha Kuusla from Messukeskus.
"The company pages with offers will open on Friday 12 February at 10 a.m. and the first programmes will be published. More program will be released on Friday 19 February. The recordings will be on the website throughout the event."
Motorboats, sailing and fishing
The programme highlights eight themes: Motorboats, Sailing, Boat tourism, How to start boating, Fishing, Diving, Clean Baltic Sea and Responsibility, and Historical boats.
Traditional awards will be presented at the online event
At the online event, recipients of The Finnish Sailing and Boating Association’s and The Finnish Fair Foundation’s Guest Marina of the Year 2021 award and the Boat of the Show award, chosen by boating magazine journalists, are announced. This year one sailing boat and one motorboat.
Save the Baltic Sea Prize, sponsored by The Finnish Fair Foundation will be announced in June.
Vene 21 Bat online event is arranged 12–21 February 2021 on venemessut.fi. The largest boating event in Northern Europe, Vene 22 Bat – Helsinki International Boat Show will be organised 11 – 20 February 2022 at Messukeskus Helsinki. Messukeskus organises the boat show commissioned by The Finnish Marine Industries Federation Finnboat.
