Vennersys has partnered with Clevedon Pier to modernise their ticketing system

With the VenposCloud system, Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust is now able to process gift aid donations with an integrated postcode look-up feature or even offer two ticket options – one with and one without an additional donation cost.

Vennersys recently partnered with Clevedon Pier to implement a new ticketing management system to help modernise their admission processes and deliver an integrated approach to managing revenue streams.

Clevedon Pier, built in the town of Clevedon in Somerset in 1869, is a Victorian seaside pier on the eastern bank of the Severn Estuary. Recognised as “Pier of the Year” in 2021, Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust receives more than 100,000 visitors a year.

After a value-determining process by the attraction’s board, it was decided that Vennersys was the best option and was picked over eight other ticketing management software providers to carry out the project.

Vennersys has over 25 years of experience supporting partners with online ticketing and integrated point of sale solutions. With the VenposCloud system, Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust is now able to process gift aid donations with an integrated postcode look-up feature or even offer two ticket options – one with and one without an additional donation cost. On top of that, they can easily manage their selection of annual passes, reduce admin time and redeem sold tickets quickly.

Phil Curme, Chairman at Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust, stated: “VenposCloud is an extremely flexible software which allows us to do things we couldn’t with our previous system, and it lets us modernise our processes – helping us to upgrade our offering to visitors and improve their overall experience. The reporting feature has been key in helping the commercial team to find new growth opportunities and increase our revenue.”

Vennersys business development manager, Stuart Ward, commented: “It’s an honour to be working closely with such a wonderful and historic attraction like Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust. We took this challenge with excitement, and wanted to not only meet, but exceed, their expectations and help them modernise their operations to current industry standards. We look forward to what this partnership will bring in the future and, in the meantime, we’ll always look for ways to improve the system to meet their needs.”
