Experienced hospitality Sales professional Rachel O’Neill-Cusey joins Visit Dana Point team.
DANA POINT, CALIF. – Visit Dana Point, the destination marketing organization for Dana Point, Calif., announces the appointment of Rachel O’Neill-Cusey as director of sales. In this position, O’Neill-Cusey will strategically promote Dana Point as a premier coastal destination for group, meeting and leisure overnight stays.
O’Neill-Cusey joins the Visit Dana Point team with over a decade of hospitality sales experience, all of which have been spent in the Dana Point market. Most recently, she served as the senior sales manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Prior, O’Neill-Cusey held several sales roles at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa.

In her role, O’Neill-Cusey will develop the destination marketing organization’s sales strategy. She will create unique programs and promotional opportunities while serving as a liaison between stakeholders and the organization, to highlight Dana Point’s many offerings to travelers on a national level.
“Having lived in South Orange County for the past decade, I couldn’t be more eager to join the Visit Dana Point team,” said O’Neill Cusey. “I look forward to creating integrated campaigns and developing strong stakeholder relationships to further raise awareness of this world-class seaside destination.”
O’Neill-Cusey holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University at Fullerton, Calif.
