Visit KC hires MMGY Global as agency of record, world expert in travel marketing will support its hometown

A campaign preview will be featured at Elevate KC, Visit KC’s annual meeting, March 23, 2016 at the Kansas City Convention Center. MMGY Global designed and launched VisitKC.com in fall 2014.

KANSAS CITY, MO – MMGY Global announced that Visit KC, Kansas City’s economic development organization dedicated to tourism, has retained the company as marketing agency of record.

MMGY will work with Visit KC to develop integrated marketing programs that support growth of the convention and meetings market as well as drive in-bound tourism to the entire Kansas City metropolitan area. Core responsibilities include elevating the brand perception of Kansas City in both regional and expanded fly markets through targeted, integrated brand marketing programs.

MMGY works around the world in travel marketing, with offices in New York, NY; Orlando, FL; and Madrid, Spain. The company was founded in Kansas City, MO, and has maintained its headquarters in the city since 1981. For over 35 years, the firm has worked with global brands such as Lufthansa Airlines, the country of Namibia, Marriott Hotels and Hertz.

The agency of record partnership kicked off in 2016, and campaign work is being produced for the crucial meetings and convention planning cycle and the spring tourism season.
