According to FlightStat, the most affected airports are Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, and Midway International Airport, as well as the (MCI) Kansas City International Airport .
After pelting Colorado, the winter storm is bringing blizzard conditions to the US Midwest. This major winter storm forced (DEN) Denver International Airport to cancel 52 flights on 19th December and has affected even more flights the next day. Most affected airports are Chicago’s (ORD) O’Hare International Airport, and (MDW) Midway International Airport, as well as the (MCI) Kansas City International Airport .
780 scheduled passenger flights canceled on December 20th at the top US airports compared to the previous day’s 220 cancelations.

- 78 flights canceled at (MDW) Chicago Midway International Airport
- 97 flights canceled at (MCI) Kansas City International Airport .
- 36 flights canceled at (DTW) Detroit Metropolitan Airport
- 33 flights canceled at (MSP) Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport
