Yamal Airlines uses market expertise of Aviareps in Scandinavia

Aviareps welcomes its new client Yamal Airlines. The fast developing Russian airline has appointed the global representation expert to conduct all future sales, marketing and ticketing activities in Scandinavia. With immediate effect, the Scandinavian AVIAREPS team based in Stockholm resumes services to efficiently promote the nonstop flights between Gothenburg and Moscow.

Yamal Airlines recently launched its new flights between Gothenburg and the Russian capital and currently offers three weekly services. Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the major Swedish port city of Gothenburg is connected to Moscow. Passengers depart at 11.15 am and arrive in Domodedovo at 3.40 pm. Return flights are scheduled on the same days, leaving Moscow at 9.20 am and landing in Gothenburg at 10.15 am (local time). All flights are available via GDS with airline code YC.

With Moscow being its second major hub, Yamal Airlines offers convenient onwards connections to its 15 destinations inner-Russian destinations. Based in Salekhard, the West-Siberian carrier serves a strong route network with more than 30 destinations in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.

Founded in 1997, Yamal Airlines constantly developed its operations and services over the past 15 years. Whilst focusing on the extension of its scheduled and charter services between major Russian cities and Eastern and Central Europe, Yamal Airlines furthermore aims at the development of a modern and Western fleet. The fleet of the Russian airline currently consists of Boeing 737, Airbus A320, Bombardier and Antonov aircraft. In addition, the carrier expects the delivery of several B737 and A320/321 throughout 2012.
