Your Golf Travel and HowDidiDo team up to offer members a raft of exclusive travel offers

Each month, unique travel offers, from Your Golf Travel's programme of more than 3,500 global golfing destinations, will be created for the community's membership base and communicated via HowDidiDo's email and website channels.

More than 400,000 club golfers are now able to play more, pay less and travel further, after Your Golf Travel was appointed official travel partner to HowDidiDo, Europe’s largest golfing community.

The world’s largest golf travel company hopes to book holidays for more than 10,000 HowDidiDo users in 2014, as the social media site continues to increase benefits and offers for its 400,000-plus members.

Each month, unique travel offers, from Your Golf Travel’s programme of more than 3,500 global golfing destinations, will be created for the community’s membership base and communicated via HowDidiDo’s email and website channels.

And a range of surveys will provide valuable industry insights into the golfing habits of HowDidiDo’s network of UK and Ireland-based members, while Your Golf Travel will also be contributing a clutch of outstanding prizes for participants.

Your Golf Travel’s associate director, Euan Gillon, said: “Golf club members are Your Golf Travel’s core market and to be able to engage with them on a day-to-day basis via HowDidiDo is exciting. We’re looking forward to hearing their views on all things golf, but particularly where and when they want to travel with their clubs. We’ll be giving HowDidiDo users exclusive deals throughout 2014 in search of that 10,000 traveller target.”

Barry Dyett, managing director at HowDidiDo Media, added: “We’ll support Your Golf Travel 100 per cent in their efforts to get golf club members travelling to play more regularly. It’s key for us that any partnership offers our users value additional to their regular HowDidiDo experience, and, having travelled on more than one Your Golf Travel holiday, I have no doubt this agreement will do just that.”

HowDidiDo holds in excess of 21 million rounds of golf along with the handicaps, results and scores of more than 1,300,000 UK golf club members. More than 400,000 signed-up members utilise the golfing website regularly to check handicap lists or competition results and to receive special member-only offers from selected partners – yet it remains a free service.

HowDidiDo is also currently engaged in a widespread campaign with the BOSS Watches H1 Club to reward all its registered golfers with a luxury timepiece should they record a hole-in-one during an official club competition. Registration to HowDidiDo is required to check handicap lists or competition results, but it remains a free service to any golf club where administrators use CLUB2000 or ClubV1 software from Club Systems International, which is in place at around 2,000 UK clubs.
