Viva Cruises launches 2023 sailing season with year-round river cruising

All Viva Cruises itineraries include Viva Cruises’ signature Viva All-Inclusive product, featuring included snacks, full board, high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, minibar, beauty products from luxury cosmetic brand, Rituals, complimentary Wi-Fi, and all tips and gratuities.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA – European river cruise brand, Viva Cruises, announced the start of the company’s new season with sailings commencing this month – while most cruise lines are still in hibernation. For those who wish to delight in an outstanding river cruise to kick-off the new year, Viva Cruises distinctively delivers as the only river line to offer cruises all year round. The time-honored cruise brand launched sales to the North American travel market in 2022, backed by its cruise-pioneering parent Scylla that shares its tradition of excellence in river and expedition cruising since 1973.

Viva One and Viva Moments are the first to depart from their home port of Düsseldorf in January with four-night, shorter duration cruises. From January to March, Viva One will be home to “wellness” itineraries – with wellness themes on Viva’s All-Inclusive as well as on excursions, and a 30-minute massage included for all on board. With options of the “Rheingau Wellness trip” that cruises along Boppard, Rüdesheim, Bonn, and Cologne, or the “Rhine-Hesse wellness trip” featuring calls in Koblenz, Frankfurt and Speyer, guests who wish to explore these lesser known gem riverside cities and villages have exciting opportunities available immediately.

Viva Moments takes its guests on city trips to the Netherlands and Belgium in January, February, and March. Showcasing the brand’s exclusive itineraries, guests enjoying cruises in the Netherlands will savor an included cheese tasting experience, while in Belgium cruisers will get to relish an exclusive beer tasting experience.

“We are very pleased to share that occupancy rates of our voyages for the first three months of 2023 are very impressive and demand continues to increase significantly,” said Andrea Kruse, COO of Viva Cruises. “We have an ever-increasing number of repeat guests who discovered the splendors of traveling on the rivers during the beginning months of the year, and now are ready start 2023 in the best way – with a little time out. As the only river tour operator to provide this opportunity, we are thrilled to cater to the wishes of travelers looking to cruise in January, February, and March.”

All Viva Cruises itineraries include Viva Cruises’ signature Viva All-Inclusive product, featuring included snacks, full board, high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, minibar, beauty products from luxury cosmetic brand, Rituals, complimentary Wi-Fi, and all tips and gratuities.
