MARINA DI CARRARA, ITALY – International Yacht Collection (IYC) celebrated the unveiling of the new 72-meter Admiral yacht on Saturday, February 11, at the Admiral Headquarters in Marina di Carrara, Italy. World-renowned fashion icon Giorgio Armani designed the exterior and interior of the superyacht.

Armani and over 650 VIP guests – primarily superyacht owners – gathered worldwide to attend the private black-tie event “Le forme dell’ acqua.” The evening featured the unveiling of the first of two 72-meter Admiral superyachts projects managed by IYC Global Managing Partner Michel Chryssicopoulos and a private fashion show showcasing the 2023 Spring Summer Armani collection. Guests were also treated to a succulent seated dinner prepared by Chef Cerea of the prestigious three-Michelin-star restaurant “Da Vittorio.”

“IYC was honored to partner with Admiral and Giorgio Armani to bring these stunning yachts to life and was delighted to share this unforgettable experience with guests from around the world,” said Raphael Sauleau from IYC.

This collaboration is a testament to Armani’s passion for luxury yachting, having previously overseen the furnishing and design of his personal yachts, Mariù and Maìn. The designer’s fashion house is channeling this passion into a new, unexpected project, bringing a new level of sophistication and elegance to the yachting industry.
