The latest issue of JaxFax (one of the world's leading travel magazine) is apparently dedicated to the Land of the Gods and more precisely to the forthcoming Olympic Games in 2004, and the required construction works concerned. The journal also refers to the new Athens airport in Spata, "Eleftherios Venizelos", the new metro in the Greek capital with a flattering tribute to the archeological displays at Syntagma square, as well as other stations and the Olympic Village which when constructed will host some 16,000 athletes. Finally, the magazine also refers to popular Greek museums and gives plenty of information on the cultural and social events taking place in and around the Greek capital.
