ORANJESTAD, ARUBA – The Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives have launched their brand-new official app. Designed to enhance the guest experience by helping them get the most of out their visit before, during and after their stay on property, the new app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play for free download and installation.
"In this digitally-connected world where everything is just a click away, our new app will help us to ensure that we are meeting the demands of today's tech-savvy travelers with a mobile-first, touchscreen enabled, user friendly app," said Aracely Sansone, Vice President of Marketing for Divi & Tamarijn Aruba. "From booking their stay to helping them physically navigate their way around the resorts to learning about activities and entertainment or staying up-to-date on new contests to enter, the app is intended to augment our guests' engagement with and experience of the two sister resorts."
Fun and easy to use on smartphones and across all devices, the app performs a number of functions for guests. Upon opening the app, users are prompted to create a profile. Users' profiles include their name, photo and email with options to add a description of themselves, their location, to receive message notifications from Divi & Tamarijn Aruba and to connect their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Once a user's profile is complete, the app features a scrollable homepage with a tappable menu button appearing at the top left.
Upon scrolling through the homepage or menu, users have options to book their stay at the Divi Aruba or Tamarijn Aruba with a flight or hotel-only. The Book Here page also includes a booking option for travel agents, phone numbers to call for reservations, past guest comments, images of the properties' awards and recognitions, links to Divi & Tamarijn Aruba's websites and buttons to connect to the properties' social media pages, call or book now. Users can also book tickets to Guy Bavli's "Master of the Mind" show, learn more about all the facilities, amenities and services available at the resorts, book golf tee times at The Links at Divi Aruba golf course conveniently located just across the street from the properties, book tennis court times, reserve car rentals, learn about island excursions offered by De Palm Tours, book a spa treatment at the Indulgence by the Sea spa located at Divi Aruba, learn more about the adjacent Alhambra Casino or view the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba Instagram feed.
In addition, users can learn about activities available at the properties and a geo-locator button at the bottom right provides the option to view their location on a map and route themselves to easily navigate to where they want to go. They can also check out the properties' restaurants and premium restaurant upgrades, which also feature geo-location and routing along with hours of operation, theme nights and menus (premium restaurant upgrades also include a link to book reservations). Further, users can view the weekly fun schedule or the nightly entertainment schedule at both Divi Aruba and Tamarijn Aruba with options to leave a comment or share with a friend, contact the manager, or simply tell the properties about their stay.
Smart room connection is coming soon and will allow a user to control the lights in their guest room directly through the app.
