New Nordic Travel Web site offers personalised service to Corporate Travellers

BroadVision, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise self-service applications, and Amadeus<.> Global Travel Distribution

BroadVision, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise self-service applications, and Amadeus<.> Global Travel Distribution, a leading global distribution system (GDS) and travel industry technology provider, announced that Travellink has launched its business travel portal, www.travellink.com, powered by BroadVision(r)-Amadeus Travel Commerce.

Founded as a joint venture by the airline SAS, Amadeus and the telecom company Tele2, Travellink is an independent travel agency serving small and medium-sized businesses in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Travellink's services are designed to give these companies the same quality of service provided by an in-house travel agency, but with significant cost savings.

Travellink allows companies to register themselves online and customise their employees' access and policies, so that these employees can edit their travel arrangements online with some 500 airlines, 56,000 hotels and 46 car rental companies. Corporate employees benefit from this intuitive service by receiving personalised content and travel options from their site thereby speeding the travel arrangement process and fostering adoption rates.

Travellink's online presence is seamlessly integrated with a 24-hour call centre, provided by Bennett BTI. BroadVision-Amadeus Travel Commerce stores all customer information in a single repository to ensure that both the call centre staff and individual customers share the exact same view of reservations in real-time.

Travellink's services enable businesses to enforce travel policies to significantly reduce their costs. By keeping employee travel within policy, companies can exercise greater control over their travel expenditure. They will also receive greater insight into actual corporate travel patterns and can adapt policy accordingly.

"Our goal is to capture 7 per cent of the Scandinavian business travel market within three years," said Peter Carlsson, CEO of Travellink. "This business objective is attainable because of the full range of value added services that BroadVision-Amadeus Travel Commerce provides, such as an improved and more efficient booking process through self service. Keeping the same architecture, we can later expand our business into the consumer market."

"BroadVision-Amadeus Travel Commerce is a great fit for Travellink's service, providing the personalisation, e-commerce and travel booking features they require in one application," said Chris Grejtak, Chief Marketing Officer for BroadVision.

"By selecting BroadVision-Amadeus Travel Commerce and Amadeus Corporate Traveller solutions, Travellink can protect its investment, truly differentiate its offer, and capture a sustainable market share" says Philippe Chereque, Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy for Amadeus.
