PKFARE, a DerbySoft Company, launches branded fares solution


PKFARE launches a branded fares solution offering three tiers—Original, Plus, Max—enhancing transparency and choice in airline fare offerings, aiming to boost customer satisfaction and revenue for airlines.

SHENZHEN, CHINA – PKFARE announces the launch of its branded fares solution, incorporating airlines’ branded fares into the display by three distinct tiers – Original, Plus, and Max. Branded fares of approximately 20 airlines will be available via PKFARE Flight API, customers will be able to receive various fares and fare attributes in each display.

  • Original: The most affordable category that potentially provides basic essentials, with additional specific services available upon potential extra costs.
  • Plus: A medium-priced choice, potentially inclusive of luggage facilities and theprovision for seat selection in advance, specific services might be available at additional fees.
  • Max: The supreme fare option that may offer an expanded luggage allowance, priority seat selection, and the likelihood of all-inclusive additional services.

This new initiative will facilitate the up-selling of ancillary services for airlines, but also empower customers to optimize revenue streams and enhance user satisfaction by enabling travelers to have a more transparent booking experience and select the fare package that best fits their preferences and the purpose of their journey.

Research shows that a well-designed branded fare strategy has the potential to encourage over 50% of consumers toward fares offering more comfort and convenience. 1 Consequently, OTAs have been ramping up the integration of airlines’ fare family information to improve booking conversation rate and value.
