AI technology for independent and boutique hotels has been made accessible by award-winning booking platform Profitroom. In its latest updates, Profitroom uses AI to encourage hesitant customers to book directly, offer AI-driven deals for low-intent browsers, on-screen and live OTA price comparisons and insights into international trends to better target global travellers.

With advancements in AI, hoteliers can now track website activity to accurately understand their booking intentions.

AI analysis of booking habits revealed that, largely, price was not a decisive factor for international travellers. As a result, Profitroom instead, offered tailored pop-up deals offering preferential rates based on length of stay and higher room categories as well as complimentary perks like a glass of bubbly upon arrival, late check out and complimentary upgrades.
