TripAdmit leaders in digital engagement solutions for tours and activities providers today announced that it has raised 1m euros in funding led by DataOp.
TripAdmit, a significant brand in the tours and activities sector, develops innovative in-tour engagement solutions for tour guides, designed to streamline tipping and review collection. TripAdmit and their TipDirect App, have already achieved significant success across Europe and North America and are looking to expand their footprint
in these markets. The technology provides a cashless, AI solution that enhances guides’ ability to receive tips, upsell additional tours and collect reviews effortlessly.
In response to the global shift toward cashless transactions, TripAdmit launched an innovative digital tipping solution that enables tour guides to receive tips directly through their mobile devices. With just a simple tap of an NFC card or a scan of a QR code, guests can transfer tips instantly to the guides’ bank accounts, facilitating secure, transparent and real-time financial exchanges.
Additionally, TripAdmit has enhanced its platform with AI-assisted review capabilities, utilizing OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology. This feature empowers guests to draft their feedback
independently or with AI assistance, delivering prompt, high-quality reviews that provide valuable insights for operators. This dual-functionality marks a significant advancement in streamlining the end of the tour engagement, enhancing both customer and guide interaction in the tours and activities sector.
This funding will enable TripAdmit to expand its presence across North America and Europe, reinforcing its role as a leader in innovation within the tours and activities sector. Based in Dublin, the company is set to enhance its influence and operations internationally, further cementing its status at the forefront of industry advancements.
