Cheli & Peacock Safaris launch new concierge service

Comprehensive hands-on solutions for all arrangements before, during and after a safari.

With life continuing to be as demanding as ever, CPS (Cheli & Peacock Safaris) have launched a Safari Concierge service (SCS) designed to meet those challenges and make safari as easy as possible. Positioned as a one stop shop to ensure that agents can easily manage every detail of a guests booking before, during and after a safari, right down to the minutia of sourcing particular food and beverage choices.

From sourcing a guest’s favourite champagne, recommending and booking restaurants, purchasing special gifts and arranging unique experiences to completing East African Visas, delivering prescription medication and everything else in-between, Safari Concierge will do it all whilst providing 24/7 communication between the agent and the guests.

Rob Porter, Regional Manager for CPS Safari Concierge Service comments on the new product “I believe that this service with its various packages is unique and the first of its kind in the East African region; as there is no other DMC package quite like it – it really is a complete seamless bespoke offering that is perfectly tailored to international agents and clients whilst providing 24/7 instant communication and support 365 days of the year. From the onset we work closely with our internal experts, agents and partners to perfectly curate a bespoke itinerary, which includes everything from the very latest security, health and safety information, application and payment of single entry visas on behalf of the clients, our Safari Concierge app to VIP fast track, meet & greets and specially curated VIP welcomes”.

In addition to the bespoke, seamless safari experience that the Safari Concierge team provides, their Safari Concierge app provides guests with access to leading itinerary software, tailored for each safari with online and offline access to their detailed day-by-day safari trip and a storage hub for important travel documents including boarding passes as well as travel and health documents and eVisas. The Safari Concierge app is white labelled, using agents and operators company branding at no additional cost.

The app provides daily itinerary details, accommodation, premium menu and experiences information, plus live 5 day weather forecasts per property destination and auto updated international flight information including notifications of any flight, gate and baggage carousel changes as well as instant messaging services. All key information and documents are easily accessed offline for immediate reference. A digital diary allows guests to instantly share images and comments of their safari across main social media feeds.

Four Safari Concierge packages ranging from Bronze to Platinum are tailored to suit all guests; from the most discerning of traveller, to those looking to simply avoid the ‘paperwork’ of travelling. The Bronze package includes AMREF flying doctors membership – including 24/7 access to professional medical advice as well as access to medical evacuation from safari destinations to Nairobi, application and payment of one single entry eVisa for the East African region, 24hr communication and support and access to the white labelled Safari Concierge app.

Silver adds in airport meet & greets, children’s safari gifts and airport lounge access at Wilson, Gold tops up with a premium VIP meet and greet / fast track services and welcome, access to premium menus (luxury spirits, wine, cigars) Aspire Lounge at JKIA and luggage storage where Platinum is the ultimate concierge package with all of the above plus a complimentary 40 minute massage, use of a luxury safari duffle bag for the duration of the safari and a set of safari clothing should a guest’s luggage be delayed on arrival, all at no cost.
