Business class air fares are expected to keep rising dramatically, according to the latest American Express<.> Corporate Travel Index survey. The United Kingdom has the highest such fares at present, with as much as 58% discrepancy with other European airports.

An example cited is that a London to Los Angeles fare is rated at just over five thousand pounds sterling, while a similar flight out of Paris is priced at just over three thousand pounds.

Average business class fares are now some 3,7 times higher than the lowest leisure fare. Three years ago they were 2,7 times.
