SeaEurope Holidays continues to expand its marketing and sales activities on behalf of European-based companies.



Today, USA- Florida based, SeaEurope Holidays signed an agreement to be the sole representative for Silja Line, a Helsinki, Finland-based company. Founded 45 years ago, Silja Line has a long tradition in seafaring. Today its Baltic Sea fleet is the finest in the business, with 70 percent of the tonnage built in the 1990`s and the newest ship in 2000. Silja is the leading passenger carrier in the Baltic Sea with just over 5 million passengers in 2002.



The six majestic white Silja liners sail between Helsinki and Stockholm, Turku and Stockholm, Helsinki and Tallinn and in the summer Helsinki and Rostock. From mid-January to mid-May, ports of call include the regal town of Riga, Latvia. During the summer months, Visby, the picturesque capital of Gotland, Sweden, is on the schedule. Silja Line is the leading trademark in this business, synonymous with high quality and excellent service. The company maintains a strong position in the regular passenger serve between Finland and Sweden, with a 59.6 percent market share. It is also a major freight carrier.
