Results from the National Tour Association’s latest member survey shows a continuing recovery in tour operators’ overall sales volume during the second quarter of 2004.

In a recent statement to CNBC, 2004 NTA Chairman Mitch Sussman stated, ”The year 2004 has been the year of recovery.” Survey results support this statement, as 60 percent of NTA tour operators report their sales volume was greater during the second quarter of 2004 than that of 2003. Nearly one half (49 percent) said that they expect their third quarter sales volume to also be greater than that of 2003.

NTA tour operators consistently recount that consumer confidence, an improving economy and pent up demand provoke a continuing recovery in 2004 and beyond.
