The ITB 2004, which took place in Berlin from 12 to 16 March 2004, was the final one for Susanne Rousselot, who was the project manager of the world`s largest tourism event. Susanne Rousselot was employed by Messe Berlin for the past 35 years, having spent this time meeting the requirements of exhibitors and trade visitors at the International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin.

During this time the ITB Berlin evolved as an international trade fair and an annual highlight for the tourism industry, and now attracts some 10,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries and territories.

In her role as Project Manager of the ITB Berlin, the personal commitment that Susanne Rousselot showed on behalf of exhibitors and trade visitors did much to define the character of this trade fair, and the many new projects, features and attractions that she introduced are now a fundamental part of the ITB Berlin.

Following her departure from Messe Berlin, Susanne Rousselot will continue to serve tourism and will also be working in the cultural field.
