JetPurple Airwayz announces West Coast mega-expansion plans

JetPurple says it plans to offer regularly-scheduled public charter first and business class only flight service at fares less than other carriers flying identical routes.

BURBANK, CALIF., LAS VEGAS, SAN DIEGO and SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – JetPurple Airwayz announces its mega-expansion plans to offer luxury class, non-stop flight service between Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ, San Diego, CA, Las Vegas and Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico and from Los Angeles/Burbank, CA to three Asian destinations, starting in 2016.

JetPurple says it plans to offer regularly-scheduled public charter first and business class only flight service at fares less than other carriers flying identical routes. The company says it plans to offer free checked luggage, complimentary meals, snacks, beverages and in-flight entertainment and free parking at private terminals, where passengers can avert long lines at TSA security check points.

The announcement comes two days after U.S. Airways shut-down its Phoenix offices and officially merged with American Airlines, which could mean a reduction of flights from Sky Harbor International Airport, AZ.

21st Century Fleet Flying Six Cities from AZ & CA
The company, which successfully operated public charter flights from Midway Airport, Chicago to gaming destinations in Michigan, says it now plans to create its own fleet of 21st century aircraft, including Boeing 737-800-BBJ (Boeing Business Jets) and Airbus ATR-42 Turbos.

JetPurple Airwayz says it will offer an unparalleled in-flight experience between Arizona and California, Nevada and Puerto Penasco, Sonora Mexico and from Los Angeles/Burbank Airport, CA to Seoul, South Korea; Shanghai, China; and Singapore International Airports.

In-Flight Luxury
“JetPurple Airwayz is planning to purchase one or more Boeing 737-800-BBJ (Boeing Business Jets) featuring first class and business class cabins with a maximum 40 seat configuration,” says President and CEO Adam Blumenkranz (Bloom-N-Kranz). “On JetPurple’s proposed four weekly U.S. to Asia flights, all first class seats recline to full-flat sleeping positions. Some jetliners will be equipped with private staterooms, providing its highest-paying passengers in-flight bedrooms and bathrooms.”

Airbus Twin-Turbo Service for LAS, PPE, SAN & SDL
On JetPurple’s proposed four weekly Arizona to Vegas, San Diego and Mexico flights, the company says it plans on flying new Airbus ATR-42 twin turbo-prop planes featuring 30-seats in its first and business only class cabins, according to Blumenkranz. “These are incredibly comfortable airplanes that fly at maximum speeds of 450 miles per hour compared to a bigger jet that travels at about 550 miles per hour.”

He adds, “So, if you do the math: combine the relative difference in air speed with the fact that JetPurple Airwayz flights will depart and arrive at private, general aviation ramp VIP terminals, just like private aircraft – then calculate how long a period of time it takes to get from the curb to the gates at Sky Harbor, San Diego’s Lindberg Field, Las-Vegas McCarren International and LAX. The equation is simple. JetPurple is an easy in-and-out of Scottsdale, Burbank, Vegas and San Diego. We are the sensible and speedy option.”

Public Charter Ticket Sales / Private VIP Status
The company says it plans to sell seats on-line at JetPurple.com and through the Global Distribution System. GDS member websites include American Express, Expedia, Kayak and Travelocity.

Amongst the advantages of flying public charter service is that the aircraft can use main terminals or general aviation VIP terminals, where passengers need only pass through magnometer security screenings opposed to waiting on TSA check point lines.

Secondary Airports
Scottsdale Airport, AZ and Bob Hope Burbank Airport, CA are FAA designated reliever airports – also known as secondary airports. They are full service, 24 operations.

“These airports are situated within close proximity to major metropolitan areas but are far less congested than Phoenix’s Sky Harbor and Los Angeles International Airports” emphasizes Blumenkranz. “Burbank and Scottsdale have dramatically less air traffic compared to LAX and Sky Harbor and both have near-zero ground wait times. You get off the plane at private terminals. Get your luggage and drive-away in 15 minutes or less.”

The Color Purple
“Purple is our exterior and interior livery color,” explains Blumenkranz. “All cabins are tastefully appointed with purple leather seats, purple carpet and purple wall texture.”

He continues, “To my knowledge, there are no carriers claiming Purple as its color. Purple is fashionable. Purple is the color of valor and the color of passion. Purple is one of the official municipal colors of Los Angeles and Phoenix. Purple is a millennial color and is also very retro – as is the 1967 classic Jimi Hendrix song ‘Purple Haze,’ which is the soundtrack to our company’s promotional video presentation.”

Slogan and Flying Peace Sign Logo
“JetPurple Airwayz slogan is, “Private jet travel for the public,” says Blumenkranz. “As a next generation airline, JetPurple is a smarter choice in passenger air travel compared to established legacy airlines.”

With his index and middle finger spread into a peace sign, Blumenkranz proclaims, “Purple Airwayz is Plane Power for the People”.

Flying Visitors to Scottsdale/Phoenix
“While we want JetPurple to be convenient for business travelers flying to San Diego; a relaxing flight for leisure travelers to Las Vegas and a comfortable journey for seaside vacationers to Mexico’s Baja Gulf Coast, we also want JetPurple to help generate tourism dollars for Arizona and California’s economies,” emphasizes Blumenkranz. “As an example, JetPurple planes will have plenty of stowage area for golf bags for people wanting to hit the links in Scottsdale, within an hour after deplaning.”

Trans-Pacific Service
JetPurple Airwayz proposed trans-Pacific service will cater to American business and leisure travelers heading to Asia from Burbank and for Asian business and leisure travelers flying to the United States.

“Burbank is a fast drive to Hollywood’s major studios and a quick commute to Southern California’s top attractions,” emphasizes Blumenkranz. “In Asia we plan to market Jet Purple to investors, especially the Chinese, who are increasingly taking their money outside their shaky economies and investing in U.S. real estate and other ventures.”
