The 787 aircraft will be joining the company’s new 737-900 aircraft, which are already operating on short-hauls to Europe, which is currently on the London Luton route, modernising the EL AL fleet.
EL AL’s inaugural flight is expected to take place on 12th September 2017 departing from London Heathrow four times a week, until 15 March, 2018 (winter schedule) Monday to Thursday, on the day time flight LY316.
The Dreamliner 787 with innovative interior designs offers a total of 282 seats, in three service classes. The new Dreamliner Business Class consists of 32 seats, all seats have aisle access, 1-2-1 seating configuration, equipped with Panasonic`s AVOD Advanced entertainment System, 16" screen and offers passengers the ultimate luxury experience, with maximum comfort and privacy.
EL AL is the first company to introduce the CL6710 seats by Recaro, a global leader in the manufacturing of aircraft seats, for a luxurious, pampering sleep experience. The two-meter-length full-flat bed seats 78" (198 cm) 180' provide comfort at the highest level, delivering passengers the ultimate personal space. The Class was designed in rich tones of wood, chocolate and champagne, which represent Israel`s warmth and create a warm, inviting environment.
Business Class passengers will enjoy an upgraded service experience, including a meticulous culinary experience, luxurious personal service, quality comfort kit, noise-cancelling headphones and additional treats.
EL AL is launching the Premium Economy Class – A service class offering privacy, intimacy and comfortable space. The new class of 28 premium ergonomic seats by Recaro in a 2-3-2 seating configuration with 38" (96 cm) pitch and dedicated legroom, for maximum comfort throughout the flight. Adjustable seat recline and headrest for passengers with seat reclinining up to 7”.
It offers maximum comfort, down to the smallest details: wide, spacious seats with large personal space, advanced entertainment experience and a dedicated, professional service team providing you with meticulous service throughout the flight. Passengers will enjoy a dedicated, pampering service.
The Economy Class on board the Dreamliner consists of 222 seats by Recaro, arranged in a 3-3-3 seating configuration providing personal space. The seats are equipped with an adjustable headrest, offering six modes.
Passengers will enjoy an enjoyable entertainment experience with Panasonic`s AVOD system, including a 12” HD personal screen, a wide selection of content customized for all audiences, and Internet services that will be available in the near future.
The Dreamliner entertainment system provides a unique entertainment experience, including viewing on large, personal touch screens with HD technology and a wide variety of content available by personal choice.
