Seabourn Cruise Line is preparing to launch the next evolution of the ultra luxury cruise experience, and has signed an agreement with Cruise Strategies Ltd to help them accomplish their goals in Canada.

Cruise Strategies was recently established by well-known cruise and travel industry executive Vanessa Lee.



The company focuses on partnerships with select cruise providers to build their brands` presences in the Canadian marketplace, as well as providing Canadian travel agencies with resources to help them sell luxury travel knowledgeably and successfully.



In 2009 and 2010, we will debut the two newest ultra luxury ships in the cruise industry, said Seabourn`s president Pamela C. Conover. We view Canada as a market that is clearly primed for expansion, she continued, and Cruise Strategies stands out as the organization with the expertise and the experience to take us to the next level.



Cruise Strategies will be our sales and marketing presence in Canada, agreed Seabourn vice president of sales Doug Seagle, and we fully expect them to deliver the North in North America for Seabourn.



We are excited to be working with Cruise Strategies. Their experienced staff understands the ultra luxury market and, specifically, the Seabourn product and distribution systems. They are a true extension of our own sales and marketing groups, Seagle further explained.



Cruise Strategies` president, Vanessa Lee, has worked with Seabourn`s executives in the past and is very familiar with the product, from having represented the cruise line previously and sailing on its ships.



There continues to be great potential for the luxury market within Canada, explains Lee, and we are delighted to work with Seabourn to help them build awareness of their fabulous product in our marketplace.



All travel agency bookings will now be made directly with Seabourn, which has ramped up its shoreside operations in Miami specifically to handle the business from Canada.
