Cultural travel comprises any kind of travel composed of pre-arranged tours such as:
City breaks, archaeology, cities of art, historic venues, cultural events, city or regional festivals, religious events, religious pilgrimage, music festivals or concerts, dance, theatre, musical shows, museums, cellar visits, gastronomy, ethnic festivals, natural sciences tours, sport events, scientific cruises, folkloric events…
Cultural travel is not necessarily seasonal and when is organized by tour operators and travel agencies it is a high expenditure travel and, therefore, a profitable one.
