Another Hotel is to be added to Movenpick Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio within Germany as of 2008. The Swiss international hotel chain recently signed a contract of lease with LIP (Ludger Inholte Projektentwicklung) for a new 4-star business hotel in Dusseldorf. The Hotel is to cater first and foremost for business executives and trade fair visitors.
Dusseldorf is an important milestone in our expansion strategy, explains Stefan Flury, Senior Vice President Europe Movenpick Hotels & Resorts. With Ludger Inholte Projektentwicklung we have found the right partner for this project, and we look forward to offering our guests our genuine Swiss hospitality in Dusseldorf as of 2008.
The Movenpick Hotel Dusseldorf is Movenpick’s 17th hotel in Germany. In addition to the existing 13 hotels, three projects are currently under construction in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Stuttgart. The Movenpick Hotel Frankfurt-City is to be completed first, its inauguration scheduled to coincide with the 2006 World Cup.
