InterContinental Hotels Group Europe, Middle East and Africa accelerates the expansion of its brand portfolio with a series of over 100 development deals.



New openings for 2005 to date comprise:


  • 5 InterContinental hotels in Egypt, Cyprus, Germany and Jordan



  • 4 Crowne Plaza hotels in Finland, Slovak Republic and UK



  • 26 Holiday Inn hotels in France, Germany, Russia, Kuwait, Italy, Finland, UK and UAE



  • 14 Express by Holiday Inn hotels in Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK


In the pipeline with contracts already signed are a further 80 hotels:


  • 8 InterContinental hotels in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Nigeria, Kuwait, UAE and Serbia & Montenegro



  • 9 Crowne Plaza hotels in Italy, Spain, Jordan, Czech Republic, UAE and UK



  • 28 Holiday Inn hotels in Bulgaria, Egypt, France, UK, Finland, Germany, Italy, Kuwait, Poland, Spain, Russia, Nigeria, Austria, Jordan, Serbia & Montenegro, Ukraine, and Azerbajdjan



  • 30 Express by Holiday Inn hotels in France, Germany, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Spain and UK



  • 2 Staybridge Suites in UK
