NEW YORK – The contemporary lifestyle hotel brand, art’otel, owned by PPHE Hotel Group – the international hospitality real estate group which develops, owns, and operates hotels and resorts, best known for its Park Plaza properties – officially welcome travelers to its second London-based property. The art’otel brings a range of art-inspired lifestyle hotels in Europe’s top cities, and its newest addition art’otel London Hoxton is no different.

Following the 2023 opening of art’otel London Battersea Power station, one of London’s most exciting new hotels, art’otel London Hoxton is a one-of-a-kind hotel experience, fusing art, design and hospitality, with Signature Artist D*Face and two original Banksy piecestaking center stage. art’otel London Hoxton joins the creative and vibrant community of Hoxton – long revered as the city’s cultural core for street art and emerging hotels. The property is perfectly placed to immerse travelers in East London’s thriving art scene and the best the UK capital has to offer with the City of London just a short walk away.

The hotel features 357 art-inspired guest rooms and 48 unique suites, all with spectacular skyline views of the city, in addition to a breath-taking 196m² Masterpiece Suite. While on-site guests can visit The Brush and All Day Grand Cafe, Lounge & Cocktail Bar, highlighting the European signature bites and cocktails. A destination restaurant will also be opening in late 2024 on the 25th floor,featuring 360° panoramic views. The new London hotel also offers flexible events spaces with jaw-dropping views ideal for up to 300 guests, and a state-of-the-art 60 seat auditorium perfect for movie screenings and product launches.

Additional premium amenities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, a skyline gym on the 26th floor, and luxury spa with four treatment rooms. The spa showcases products and treatments from Proverb. The unique menu of treatments will leave guests feeling truly revitalized in the most soothing of settings. Using only vegan, organic and natural ingredients such as proteins, antioxidants and enzymes, Proverb products are formulated for lab proven results. Spa treatments range from massages to facials, nail treatments and full body experiences, all with a playful art’otel twist.

art’otel London Hoxton has been brought to life by Signature Artist Dean Stockton – better known as D*Face, recognised as one of the most prolific contemporary urban artists of his generation. Having spread his signature style worldwide, with well over 100 murals, a host of solo exhibitions, and major collaborations, D*Face has come full circle, returning to where it all started for him, in London’s iconic East End. In collaboration with Eyal Shoan of award-winning interior design studio Digital Space, D*Face will feature works in all bedrooms and public spaces, curating everything from original large-scale sculptures and murals to bespoke details. Resembling a cogwheel design, architects Squire & Partners have created a bold building that puts art’otel London Hoxton front and center in the community.

Guests staying at the London Hoxton location can also take advantage of the hotel group’s signature art’beat program, which highlights cultural and artistic events. The art’otel gallery provides opportunities for up-and-coming in addition to established artists, allowing them to create and exhibit works on-site free for guests to explore. The packed art’beat cultural programming emphasizes art, music, fashion, wellness, and culinary events for guests and locals.

To showcase the art’beat program, the property features an immersive 135sqm art gallerythat will play host to exclusive works from Signature Artist D*Face and other local and emerging artists, as well as revolving curated exhibitions throughout the year. Guests of the hotel, as well as members of the public, are able to discover the exhibition space too – adding to Hoxton’s rich and cultural arts scene.

The second London destination is located at 1-3 Rivington Street and will join existing, vibrant art’otel properties in some of Europe’s most creative cities, including Rome (opening in the first half of the year), Amsterdam, Berlin, Zagreb, and Cologne.
