Jeromi Quincy

Jeromi Quincy named Dual General Manager for Tru by Hilton and Hotel Lela in Wilmington, signaling McKibbon Hospitality’s commitment to strong leadership for their new properties.

WILMINGTON, NC – McKibbon Hospitality, an award-winning leader in hotel management, announces key leadership appointments for two highly-anticipated properties. Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach, developed by CN Hotels and opening May 2024, as well as Hotel Lela, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, scheduled to open this summer.

Jeromi Quincy has now been named the Dual General Manager of Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach and Hotel Lela, a Tapestry Collection. Quincy is a well-established hospitality manager within the Wilmington community. He joins the McKibbon team from Homecourt Hospitality Management where he served as General Manager across three different properties, including DoubleTree by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, and Holiday Inn, an IHG Property. Under his leadership, the operations achieved Outstanding Quality assurance scores across all three properties.

“We are excited to welcome Jeromi Quincy, an experienced hospitality leader who is well established in the Wilmington market, to the McKibbon team,” said Michael Hickerson regional VP of operations. “His well-versed managerial experience and leadership skills lead to an easy decision to appoint Quincy as the Dual General Manager for the openings of Hotel Lela and Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach in the coming months.”

This appointment comes just after the recent naming of longtime Wilmington sales leader, Rebecca Scott, as Dual Director of Sales, responsible for total revenue generation for both properties. She joined the McKibbon team from Crown Hotel and Travel Management where she served as Area Director of Sales, responsible for maximizing revenue for two properties: Hampton Inn Sneads Ferry and Fairfield Inn & Suites Dunn.

The perfect home base hub and launching point for visitors to easily explore the lively music, art, and food scenes of downtown Wilmington or escape to Wrightsville Beach, Hotel Lela, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach are primed to bring a combined 204 new guestrooms to the area.

Boasting 97 guestrooms, Hotel Lela joins Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, a portfolio of original hotels offering guests unique style and vibrant personality. Ensuring a serene stay reflective of the coastal Carolina ethos, Hotel Lela’s spacious guest rooms feature premium linens, large bathrooms, flat-screen TVs with premium channels, desks, and built-in seating nooks. Standout amenities include two private swing suites where guests can connect with friends and compete with golf, soccer and football simulations, and the vibrancy of Mexico City meets low-key Baja California at Paloma’s, serving breakfast as well as dinner and cocktails in the evening. Open to the public and hotel guests.

Where playful meets practical, Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach is set to feature 107 guest rooms, providing guests with comfortable, contemporary, pet-friendly accommodations. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, free daily hot breakfast as well as a lively lobby featuring games, functional workspaces, and a well-stocked 24/7 market.

Guests of both properties can relax and unwind with a shared heated outdoor saltwater pool surrounded by cabanas and firepits while keeping their wellness goals on track with a state-of-the-art fitness center. Guests can also indulge in the Pool Bar, offering fruit smoothies in the morning and cocktails and small bites in the evening.

Hotel Lela, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach are owned by High Point-based CN Hotels. Tampa-based McKibbon Hospitality has been tasked with operating the properties.
