Wide-body Boeing 777 on Anex Tour routes from Pyrzowice to Turkey.
Anex Tour Poland, a Turkish travel agency, commenced this year’s charter season at Katowice Airport. In the night between 24 and 25 April 2024, Boeing 777-300ER (339 seats), property of Anex Tour’s Mavi Gök Airlines charter carrier, landed at Katowice Airport.
During “Summer 2024,” Mavi Gök Airlines’ aircraft, including the most prestigious Boeing 777-300ER, will handle charter flights between Katowice Airport and Antalya, Turkey. In addition to this aircraft, two Boeing 757-300s (275 seats) and Boeing 737-800NGs (189 seats) will be used by Anex Tour to handle flights from Katowice Airport. Ground handling of Anex Tour’s operations is provided at Katowice Airport by Welcome Airport Services sp. z o.o.
In 2024, Anex Tour Poland considerably expanded its presence on the Polish charter market.

Last year, 773K passengers were served on Turkish routes at Katowice Airport; resultantly, Turkey was the most popular country in Katowice Airport’s network of flights. In 2023, 5.6M passengers were noted at Katowice Airport; 2.95M were served on regular flights, and 2.63M on charter flights. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, last year Katowice Airport maintained its position of the biggest Polish airport in the area of charter flights.
