Gray Collection expands its Le Petit Hôtel brand with its second Montreal location.

MONTREAL , QC – Award-winning hospitality group Gray Collection announce the expansion of its celebrated Le Petit Hôtel brand in Montreal with the addition of a second location, Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame, set to open in Summer 2024. Located on the iconic Notre-Dame Street in the heart of Old Montreal, Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame will be the ideal homebase for exploring Montreal’s most notable landmarks, including Basilique Notre-Dame, the magnificent Old Port, and the historic Place Jacques-Cartier. With the same intimacy and charm as the original Le Petit Hôtel, the new location promises to be the perfect “home away from home” for guests seeking a memorable stay in Montreal.

The original Le Petit Hôtel, nestled on Rue St. Paul in Old Montreal, has long been revered for its intimate scale, which allows for personalized attention to each guest and creates a sense of exclusivity and coziness that sets it apart from larger establishments. Following the success of the unique ambiance offered by Le Petit Hôtel St. Paul, the decision to expand the brand came from recognizing the demand for boutique luxury accommodations in Montreal’s vibrant hospitality scene. With travelers increasingly seeking personalized experiences, there was a clear opportunity to extend the exceptional service and charm of Le Petit Hôtel to another iconic location within the city.

As noted by Dimitri Antonopoulos, President at Gray Collection, “We believe that personalized attention is the cornerstone of a memorable hospitality experience, and our decision to expand reflects our commitment to extending this level of care to more guests. By opening additional locations, we aim to forge new connections and continue to set the standard for boutique hotels, ensuring that each individual who walks through our doors feels valued and catered to throughout their stay.”

The vision behind Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame was to create a space that bridges the gap between historic allure and modern elegance. Situated in a 19th-century heritage building, the hotel will harmoniously marry preserved original features, such as exposed brick, with sleek, modern furnishings and amenities.

Retaining the intimate atmosphere of the beloved original, Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame will feature 17 one-of-a-kind rooms, each bearing its unique charm. Designed to cater to each guest’s individual needs, the rooms will vary in size, ensuring each traveler finds the perfect space for themselves. Elevating the essence of comfort, guests will be able to indulge in ultimate relaxation with down comforters and pillows from Marie L’Oie, as well as enjoy the premium Le Labo bath products stocked in each room.

Despite its small size, Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame will boast a wide range of amenities. From complimentary breakfast in the lobby each morning to access to a nearby gym, guests will find everything they need for a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Set to open in Summer 2024, Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame represents both an expansion of the Gray Collection’s commitment to excellence and a continuation of its tradition of offering guests unforgettable experiences in the heart of Montreal.
