NEW YORK, NY – Pegasus Lodges, the travel company renowned for their vacation lodges in remote destinations, has appointed Baptiste Caulonque as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Caulonque, a French surfer from Biarritz since age five, brings 20 years of experience within the surf industry. For a decade, he honed his business acumen at leading firms such as Danone and PricewaterhouseCoopers, establishing a solid professional foundation. His transition to the surf industry marked a period of significant contributions, notably his leadership role in Rip Curl’s European operations and his consultancy work with diverse brands. As a trailblazer in the surf park arena, Caulonque has been pivotal in spearheading projects like the Paris surf park among others globally since 2016. In his role as CEO, Caulonque will assume responsibility for managing the company’s existing five properties while spearheading the expansion of Pegasus Lodges to more locations.

“Beginning as a repeat customer of Pegasus in multiple locations, I was deeply impressed and inspired by the brand’s commitment to nature and felt a passion to share these experiences with others,” said Caulonque. “I’m thrilled to join the team as CEO to continue sharing the unique Pegasus experiences and lifestyle across existing and new locations to come.”
