NEW YORK, NY – Pegasus Lodges, the travel company renowned for their vacation lodges in remote destinations, has appointed Baptiste Caulonque as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Caulonque is committed to elevating the brand’s unique ethos and lifestyle, leveraging his rich professional background and deep-seated passion for surfing.
Caulonque, a French surfer from Biarritz since age five, brings 20 years of experience within the surf industry. For a decade, he honed his business acumen at leading firms such as Danone and PricewaterhouseCoopers, establishing a solid professional foundation. His transition to the surf industry marked a period of significant contributions, notably his leadership role in Rip Curl’s European operations and his consultancy work with diverse brands. As a trailblazer in the surf park arena, Caulonque has been pivotal in spearheading projects like the Paris surf park among others globally since 2016. His tenure as Chief Commercial Officer at Endless Surf until 2023 was characterized by his impactful role in developing inclusive surf parks.
In his role as CEO, Caulonque will assume responsibility for managing the company’s existing five properties while spearheading the expansion of Pegasus Lodges to more locations.
