The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies will hold its Annual General Meeting on September 11th at 10:00 AM at the Breezy Bend Country Club in Winnipeg, MB. “This is a great opportunity for travel industry professionals and ACTA members to meet with ACTA’s Board of Directors members and staff, to hear about ACTA’s successes over the last year, to get the scoop on the upcoming action plan and, most importantly, for members to let us know what we can do for them, and most of all, it is a great excuse to visit Winnipeg and some of its top-notch venues!” said Jean Collette, Chair of ACTA.
Participants at Canada’s premier travel agent association’s AGM will be hosted at The Inn at the Forks, a charming boutique hotel centrally located in The Forks, one of the loveliest public spaces in the city. The Forks, an expanse of riverside property in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, has been a meeting place for visitors for thousands of years, attracting over 4 million visitors each year.
On the eve of the meeting, the Manitoba Council of ACTA will be hosting AGM attendees at the McPhillips Street Station, one of Western Canada’s most interesting & unique entertainment facilities. Here guests will enjoy the elegance of a themed turn-of-the-century casino and step aboard the Millennium Express for a 3D train trip through time.
On September 11th, the AGM will be followed by Manitoba’s 14th annual golf tourney. After golf, players and non-players alike will be treated to dinner and to Dean Jenkinson’s unique brand of stand-up comedy.
