The Dubai Convention Bureau (DCB), operated by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has been presented an award by the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE) at its annual international conference held in the Spanish city of Barcelona recently.
Mr. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director of DCB, received the award on behalf of the DCB-DTCM, from Mr.Lex Granaada, Chairman of the SITE’s Board of Directors, and Ms. Brenda Anderson, SITE CEO at the 33rd annual SITE International Conference. The award is in recognition for the best organization of the fifth European SITE (Education and Networking Programme (ESNEP) conference that Dubai hosted in April last year.
Nearly 500 incentive and travel practitioners and executives were present at the ceremony. Dubai is a SITE member since 1996.
