In addition, Jon Peck, Marriott’s Frenchman’s Reef and Morningstar Resort, ran unopposed for the Latin America seat as did Katrien Mergaert, Incentag New Directions, for the Middle East/Africa seat.
This newly elected group of board members brings with them much enthusiasm toward SITE and our industry and I am excited to count them among our organization’s leadership, said SITE President Peggy Whittman, CITE, MI Fulfillment Services, LLC. Working with the existing board members, Peggy, Lex, Cristina, Jon, Katrien, Bill and Jim will continue to provide the leadership and vision in developing meaningful educational and networking opportunities that have helped make SITE one of our industry’s premier organizations for nearly 30 years.
The new board members will take office following SITE’s annual meeting, which takes place during the SITE International Conference 2002, Dec. 8 – 12 in Miami and the Beaches.
