Emirates Airline was selected by readers of Travel Intelligence Middle East magazine as Best Business and best Economy Class Airline.
Hamad Obaidallah, Emirates` General Manager UAE, GCC, Iran and Yemen, and Nasser bin Kerbash, its GM for the Middle East and Africa, were presented with the trophies by Paul and Kate rouse, publishers of the magazine.
And there were more to come, John Felix, Emirates Holidays` GM, carried off the trophy for the Middle East`s Best Tour Operator.
Rashid Al Noory, GM of DNATA, and many members of his organisation, were there to take home two awards, for Best Leisure Travel Agency (Holidays by DNATA), and Best Business Travel Agency, (BTI UAE)
Other accolades presented last night included Best Resort and Best International Hotel Groups (Le Meridien) and Best Business Hotel (Emirates Towers)
Kate Rouse said at the ceremony that the awards were made `by the professionals in the travel industry who know what they are doing.
Maurice Flanagan CBE, Emirates` Group Managing Director, said: We`ve set out to redefine world class air travel, and it`s very heartening for every Emirates employee to learn of this tribute from the discriminating corporate traveller.
