In an effort to reorganize its hotel portfolio in order to focus on expansion within North America, Henry Kallan, President and Owner of HKHotels, has sold his interest in the 52-room Aria Hotel in Prague to local investors. The Aria is already under new management and HKHotels no longer maintains any affiliation or operational responsibility.
“We have been very proud of our work in Prague with the Aria,” notes Mr. Kallan, “but when the investors made an offer to buy the hotel in full, it was a welcome opportunity for me to focus more of our funds and energy on development in North America.”
In this regard, HKHotels is in the process of acquiring its sixth hotel in Manhattan. In keeping with his tremendously successful philosophy of creating unique themed hotels with value-added amenities and services, a performing arts concept is under consideration for this location.
