Service Extraordinaire, the multi-award winning customer service and staff training programme, has won yet another accolade. This time the initiative, created uniquely by the Novotel London West, scooped up the ‘Excellence in Training and Development’ category, at the annual UK Hotel & Catering Personnel and Training Association (HCPTA) Awards for Excellence.
The Hammersmith based hotel and conference centre now boasts 3 major accolades for Service Extraordinaire, now being rolled out throughout parent company Accor:
- CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING TEAM OF THE YEAR, NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD 2003
- BEST TRAINING PROGRAMME, UK MOTIVATIONAL AWARDS
- EXCELLENCE IN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AWARD, UK HOTEL & CATERING PERSONNEL AND TRAINING ASSOCIATION

Service Extraordinaire was introduced at London Novotel West with the aim of addressing customer service issues and raising standards of delivery across all areas of the hotel, allowing every staff member to challenge service standards at any level.
The awards, which took place last week at Claridges, London, seek to recognise outstanding achievement of HR professionals in the Hospitality Industry.
