Ambassador Salah Halima, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, said that the meetings of the Egyptian-Libyan consular committee, which convened at the foreign ministry premises, dealt with a number of issues concerning the two countries.

Halima said that the meetings came in preparation for meetings of the joint higher committee.

Ambassador Ali Ibrahim, the Director of the Department of Consular Affairs at the Libyan foreign ministry, expressed belief that proceedings of the 7th session of the committee had achieved important steps, noting that the meetings also tackled issues of illegal immigration and investment projects.
