Budget Rent a Car has added four new locations to its UK network following the appointment of Regal Vehicle Rentals Limited as a franchisee in the North West. The four new locations are Chester, Manchester South, Warrington and Workington. Budget now operates 80 locations in the UK and is actively seeking to expand its network further.
Des McCann, director of UK operations said: We are delighted to welcome Regal to the Budget family. This new
appointment signals our intention to grow the network in the UK and demonstrates the confidence of a successful entrepreneur in the Budget brand. The Budget Warrington and Workington locations will be servicing the bulk of BNFL`s corporate vehicle rental requirements at Risley and Sellafield.
Regarding our expansion plans, we aim to add at least six more franchise locations before the end of the year. To this end, we recently appointed Alan Rimell as UK franchisee operations manager. One of his specific briefs is to develop the network further.
