The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in its last Travel and Tourism Group meeting for the current year have briefed the members about the department’s plans to generate an overall growth in tourism in Dubai.
DTCM Director Operations and Marketing, Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb who chaired the meeting said the department has been successful in marketing Dubai internationally as well as in the GCC markets. We are delighted that our marketing campaigns have brought positive results in positioning Dubai internationally. We plan to design and implement similar strategies on a much larger scale for the year 2003 to achieve results, said Mr. bin Hareb.
Mr. bin Hareb also assured the members that talks with the Dubai Municipality, for desert camping, and with the Department of Civil Aviation for parking at the Dubai International Airport, for the collecting and dropping off of guests, would end on a positive note.
