The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the Suzhou municipal government have inked a Memorandum of Understanding for greater tourism co-operation between their two destinations.



Both parties will promote niche segments such as education tourism and encourage their industry partners to produce and jointly market attractive travel packages linking Singapore with Suzhou and neighbouring cities in China.



Meanwhile, Singapore`s Changi Airport reported it handled 11.8 million passengers in the first five months of this year.
