The Canadian Alliance of Business Travel, the association for the corporate travel industry in Canada, announced two upcoming education sessions aimed at enhancing corporate travel managers’ knowledge and expertise of the Canadian business travel industry. The Education Exchange Days, hosted in Montreal on May 25 and Calgary on May 31, will focus on important issues in the corporate travel, including pandemic preparedness, Canadian air transportation security, border relations and best practices. As always, both events will provide attendees with valuable knowledge on trends in the industry.

Canadian Alliance President Tanya Racz, CCTE, commented, “Education Exchange Days hosted by the Canadian Alliance of Business Travel are the ideal opportunity for travel managers and suppliers to learn more about topics affecting their corporate travel programs and how they can adapt to their travel programs to address these challenges.”

Topics covered in the Montreal event include U.S.-Canadian border relations, validating corporate travel agreements and benchmarking best practices for Canadian travel programs. The Calgary event will focus on pandemic preparedness, Canadian air transportation security and strategic meetings management. All Canadian Alliance Education Exchange Days qualify as electives for the Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) program, the corporate travel industry’s only professional certification. The CCTE program is offered by the alliance’s North American affiliate, the National Business Travel Association (NBTA).
