If a city is actively pursuing MICE business, being host to the Site Global Conference is an excellent way to accelerate marketing efforts. Each year, the event brings together professionals from more than 40 countries to focus on creating excellence and establishing standards in the motivational experiences industry. This year, Beijing, China, is hosting the conference; 2013 will be a milestone year for Site as it celebrates its 40th anniversary at the Site Global Conference in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Site began as an idea; a forum launched in 1973 when 11 incentive travel colleagues decided to create the first international nonprofit association dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in incentive travel and motivational events. Since its official incorporation almost 40 years ago, Site has grown to nearly 2,000 members in 90 countries with 28 regional chapters.
